Beeby itself is a small village in the parish of Charnwood and can be described as a "series of scattered houses that remain of a shrunken medieval village". All Saints Church is our most noticeable landmark built in the 14th century with a famous truncated steeple often referred to as The Beeby Tub .

Rutland Water lies to the east of Oakham and is set in around 4200 acres of beautiful countryside. The park offers everything from walking and cycling to fishing and watersports. Bradgate Park was first enclosed as a deer park 800yrs ago and offers a wild and rugged landscape with rocky outcrops and gnarled old oak trees .
