Camping & Glamping
The Camping Field
Bordered with wildflowers our ten metre wide mowed pitches are named after fictional badgers and just perfect if you want to bring your own tent. We also offer Millie and Val which are our beautiful cream canvas bell tents set up ready for you to hire, if you want to keep it simple.

Millie is furnished with a double bed, two futon beds and a camp bed so space for a family of five all with lovely bedlinen and blankets/throws to keep you cosy. You also have exclusive us of the new Millie Shack which houses a cooking station and all the items you will need to cook and eat while you stay with us . You also have a wooden bench and fire pit area to use for cooking or relaxing .
Val is simply pitched ready for you with flooring and mats so you can bring your own camping equipment it also has a wooden bench and fire pit

.As we only have nine mowed pitches with no cars allowed in the field it feels spacious and uncrowded. You are able to relax as a family (remember children under 12 are free), with friends or just as a couple. Each pitch has its own fire pit area with logs to perch on whilst toasting your marshmallows.

Our communal areas; the Badger's Den and The Old Chicken Shed are just near the field edge .
The Badger's Den is a sheltered hub where you can escape the sun or rain with or without a coffee! The Chicken Shed is where you can wash up and find the fridge/freezer and drinking water.

Our showers and toilets are for all campers and are both within easy reach. With two toilets in individual wooden huts near the horse box showers .There are also mirrors and basins in all the toilets and showers so you can easily brush your teeth or wash your hands,
The Essentials

A Camping Pitch is £35 a night - this is for 2 adults and up to 5 children under 12 yrs - additional £5 charge for anyone over 12yrs
​
Val is available for single night use at £85 April to June and then 2 night minimum July to September - for up to 2 adults and 4 children under 12yrs - ( as above for those over 12yrs )

Millie is a two night stay minimum at £125 a night for upto 5 people

All our pitches have a designated area for a fire
Wood to be used can be purchased from us at £8 a bundle (logs, kindle and firelighters)
There are no cars allowed in the camping field so you can roam free. There are wheel barrows to help you take your camping essentials to your pitch.
We have a fridge and a freezer in The Old Chicken Shed that you can use every pitch has its OWN SHELF
The Old Chicken Shed houses our charging lockers so you can charge your phones if you feel the need to keep connected ( ready this summer )
The Coffee Cart is open Friday to Sunday from March 8th serving fresh coffee, tea ,bacon /sausage/egg sandwiches . We also have treats for our smaller guests with Judes' Treaty Stand and ice cream . The Coffee Cart opens seven days a week in July , August and September.

A few rules we need you to look at ...

Check in is 2.00pm

Check out is 11.00am

We are unable to accommodate dogs to stay due to the fishing lakes

There are no mains hook-ups and no caravans

We can not accommodate trailer tents or camper vans

Quiet times are after 10.00pm and before 7.00am - please respect our other campers

No cars or other vehicles accessing the site after 10.00pm

Please make use of the recycling and refuse bins provided

Fires and BBQs only to be lit in the designated areas provided. Disposable BBQ's are not be used

Respect our surrounding wildlife and plants - please don't cut your own firewood​​

We have a one tent per pitch policy due to our camping licence

Whole Site Take-Overs
​
You are also able to exclusively hire out the whole camping field with sole use of the camping facilities . This will include Millie and Val and also the 7 mowed pitches for your own tents .
