Our Covid measures
For this 2020 season the safeguard measures we have adopted to help our guests take sensible precautions are below :
If you are displaying symptoms or feel unwell we ask you to contact us and stay at home to protect others .
We provide hand sanitiser at key touch points across the site including before you enter the camping field, by the wheel barrows at the gate for those who are fishing and also by the toilet/shower at the top lake.
We keep the small entrance gate open to reduce contact points during the day .
All pegs are over 10m apart
The toilet at the top lake is cleaned twice daily - using a general cleaner then disinfectant
New shower - cleaned twice daily as above
Please use the hand sanitiser if using the wheel barrows
We politely request you remove all your rubbish and cigarette butts at the end of your stay with us from your peg
All booking is now online for track and trace requirements
We have a two night policy to limit quest frequency
The huts are well ventilated with numerous windows and doors that can be completely opened and pinned back
All bedding ( including mattress and pillow protectors ) is washed at 60 degrees and soft furnishings limited as you will see in the current photos ( please let us know if you would like to bring your own )
We have decided to not supply towels at this time due to Covid 19
Blinds are sprayed with disinfectant cleaner and plastic controls wiped clean
All used tableware is put through the dishwasher at a high setting
All surfaces are cleaned throughly then disinfected for a second layer of security

Camping & Glamping
Our tent pitches are 10m wide and 6m apart and there are 9 pitches in total - see our
We have introduced a 2 night stay policy across the site to limit guest volume throughout the week
Hand sanitiser available at the camping field entrance and in the Badgers Den
All toilets have sinks with soap and paper towels
Showers have sinks to wash hands
All toilets and the showers can be pinned back to increase ventilation
Our washing up sinks have washing up liquid provided in dispensers but it is advisable to bring your own
Fridge and freezer cleaned daily
Toilets and showers cleaned then followed by a disinfectant clean
In Millie our Bell Tent all bedlinen is washed at 60 degrees , tableware/pans are put through the dishwasher , all surfaces are cleaned then disinfected .
In both Bell Tents there is plenty of ventilation through the main door and side openings . In fact both can be opened completely at the bottom from the ground sheet.

If you develop Covid-19 symptoms whilst on holiday, please arrange a test using your holiday address. You can order a test from www.nhs.uk/coronavirus or call 119. You MUST notify your accommodation provider immediately.
If you are contacted by Test & Trace whilst on holiday you MUST notify your accommodation provider immediately that you have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace and asked to self-isolate.
If you are well enough to return home by private transportation then please do so and self-isolate at home. Do not use public transport.
