Our Whole Site Take Overs !

We thought it would be good to share some of the great photos and stories from the last few weeks of recent groups who have stayed with us and had a “Whole Site Takeover “as we have really enjoyed being hosts in this way .
Tom and his friends were the first at the end of May ,celebrating his final days of freedom before he got married the following week. The weather for Tom, Gareth and friends was not on its best behaviour but as Gareth said “the shelter aka the Badgers Den saved us !
The following day we jumped from pre-marital partying to a 16th birthday party with a festival theme ( glitter face paint, neck passes and wrist bands compulsory ) which Sarah, her mum and her sister been planning for a while gathering together three generations and close friends . The weather was again slightly damp at times but the BBQ continued , kids played and families camped and stayed in the shepherds huts . All loved it!
Then last weekend ,we had the Christian Anglers Club camp with us for their annual fellowship gathering. They took both lakes to fish and be together as a group, coming from near and far and this time the weather was gorgeous allowing them to enjoy the site at its best . Marks' Mum and Sister joined the team that weekend to serve the booked 7.ooam breakfast sandwiches from the coffee cart!
Our next group is a mid week booking in August; again a gathering of family and friends. It seems to be the perfect way to celebrate an event with exclusive use of the campsite or simply see each other outside with no additional covid complications!
